About the CentreWelcome to the website of the Centre for Corporate Law and Securities Regulation. The Centre was established by The University of Melbourne in January 1996 in recognition of the growing importance of corporate law and securities regulation nationally and internationally and also in recognition of the strength of The University of Melbourne in these areas. The purpose of the Centre is to undertake and promote research on corporate law and securities regulation and to provide a focal point for those working in these areas. This is reflected in the Centre's current objectives The activities of the Centre include teaching (members of the Centre teach or coordinate the teaching of 18 specialist subjects), a strong research program, conducting conferences and seminars, and publishing a monograph series. In addition, the Centre publishes the monthly Corporate Law Bulletin and also hosts the Corporate Law Judgments Website (which contains corporate law judgments of the Australian State and Federal courts) and is actively involved in policy research. You will also find on the Centre's website links to other sites of interest. The Director of the Centre is Professor Ian Ramsay. Professor Ramsay welcomes any enquiries about the work of the Centre.
